Philippe Beudin
Philippe was born in Biarritz. He belongs to the generation who saw the first surfers turn up on the beaches of the Basque Country. At the time, there were no surf schools, so he learnt how to surf by himself and with the help of his elders. Very soon, this sport which involves sliding and freedom became a passion. He spent several years travelling around the world and surfing the most mythical waves on Earth. Then, he came back to his home country to make his passion his job.
He has been a professional for more than 15 years now as a fully qualified surf instructor and lifeguard. Today, he has a great experience and expertise in teaching surf. |

Fredéric Gheusi
For Frédéric, who’s from Brittany, the sea runs in the family. His grandfather took part in the 64 rowing Olympic Games and his father is a diver, so he kind of fell into it when he was a little boy. Fred lives in Guethary. He’s been a lifeguard for long and a fully qualified surf instructor since 2000. He settled in the Basque Country 15 years ago to be able to live his passion for surf totally.
Patient and passionate, he loves contact and teaching. |
